Fraternità universale e Chiesa sinodale, 2: Prospettive pastorali
Contents
Download the summarySynodality is an essential dimension of ecclesial life that must be valued and considered in its indissoluble relationship with fraternity at various levels of theological reflection, in particular at the ecumenical-interreligious and liturgical-pastoral levels. It is precisely through the construction of a real universal fraternity that the beauty of a common path can be rediscovered, which fruitfully involves all of God's people on their journey towards salvation. Human collaboration requires an all-inclusive dialogue, through which it is possible to overcome every barrier of division, both at the socio-cultural and religious levels. Only in the dialoguing encounter with the other, in fact, of which an "outgoing" Church can promote by announcing the Gospel and the coming of the Kingdom of God, can individualism, closure and fundamentalism be overcome in the era of the global village.
